I’m liking these lines, the guys seem to have a lot more chemistry on the ice this game, and that period was pretty strong (the first half was way better, but the second half wasn’t awful by any means).

Tomorrow I think I’ll wear my Kane jersey (even though it’s super heavy and ridiculously huge) over my Crawford shirt (because he’s a sweet baby angel from heaven and I just want to bake him a cake for being so amazing this season).

But I could wear my Toews shirt today…Or I could wear that tomorrow under my Kane sweater (y’know, since they should be together forever)…or I could wear my Hossa jersey today…

Basically I’m just going to wear all of it at once and then cry about hockey for forever.

i don't know much about the blackhawks' coaching, i admit, but if the coaching is really a huge problem for you guys, then wow im really sorry-i'm a pens fan, and that was/is a huge problem for us. our coach was slow to adjust/made bad line combinations (iginla offwing playing with geno & neal who he had little chemistry with). and also being too afraid to play our rookies in favor of slower veterans. anyway, i wanted to wish you luck because i know all too well how frustrating it is. good luck!

Yeah, we just seem to be having a lot of issues in this series (and some in past series) that are probably due to coaching. The line choices right now are absolutely ridiculous and the coaching staff needs to figure its shit out for our power play because our PP should be incredible and instead it’s downright embarrassing. If we lose this series, I’m going to blame our coaching staff more than anyone else.

So sorry about the Pens loss! I was really hoping the finals would be Pens/Hawks, that would have been a fun series. Thanks for wishing us luck! It looks like we’re going to need it.

Well Tuukka is from Finland so the "alien" part is about half-right. Except he is a really awesome alien. By the way, I will admit your goalie Crawford is HOT. That is all.

Haha Tuukka is just ridiculous. SO GOOD. And yeah, Crawford is pretty insane; without him we wouldn’t even be in this series. He’s also a cutie-pants, not that that really makes a difference in anything, haha.

sorry for butting in your askbox but you're one of the few sensible posters in the CB tag :) idk why but the hawks pretty much played AHL lvl hockey just now and it's painful to watch. power play is a mess and crawford was the only one who showed up really. Q should quit with the line mixing and just put toews/kane/bickell together for at least ONE period in the next game i really don't think that's too much to ask. ®ardless of the result of the SCF i want kompon gone by the end of the season

Haha well thank you! Yeah, they did not look good tonight. I mean, it’s hard to get your shit together when one of your main offensive leaders is injured at the last minute and you weren’t expecting to play without him. Hossa has so much playoff experience, and not having that really hurt us.

But yeah, TKB needs to be a thing again. Bickell was barely on the ice last night, which doesn’t make ANY sense. “Hey, this guy scores goals and gets assists for us in the playoffs…LET’S KEEP HIM ON THE BENCH.” How is that logical. I don’t understand. There isn’t a single part of that that makes any kind of sense. TKB forever, haha.

I don’t know much about Kompon, but if he’s to blame for these stupid lines he should definitely get the boot. Ugh.
